What can I say? What can I say to describe the horror, the pain, the suffering of this place? What can I say to detail the every immense threat, the danger, the bloodlust and bloodthirst? Or what of the passion? The lust without love that breaks and crushes its victims in passionate, scything jaws? What about adventure? The stuff of miracles, with magic and lore and monsters that will shake you in your sheets and give you cold sweats at the thought of looking just below your bed, to that empty space underneath. And what of the miracles? The acts of pure kindness and pure faith – the heroes that struggle in a world not theirs and upon the blood and tears of the righteous form for themselves a place not so tragic? Oh, what can I say? How can I tell you this? What happens behind closed doors and back in alleys away from prying eyes. This is not the real world. The real world is a much duller place. The real world is safe with its viruses and war and starvation. This is fantasy, and we are the fantastic. Do not tread, oh real thing, where only the make believe can go.
